还不如买bond呢在second market买bond，两年期的bond就可能会有4.2%的利率。安全系数也不低，只要买评级在BBB以上的。

我用的是TD Waterhouse开一个TD Waterhouse trading account，就什么都看见了。每个bond都有评级。其它的broker我不知道。但是每个broker所代理的bond不太一样。TD Waterhouse买bond应该没有commission。

PC Mastercard就是一般的Mastercard每花一块钱就赚10个pc points。1000个pc points相当于1块钱，在很多的grocery store买东西可以redeem points。一般只能redeem10000点的整数倍。
要说缺点就是比较难申请，必须有工作

no annual fee, in factI'd prefer pc to ING is because PC is actually a bank though without any tellers. It can do most bank transactions, like paying bills. You don't have to maintain a certain level of funds to keep the service free. Further, its check is free too.

You are correct. But you can easily find a bond with yield more than 3% APY with maturity date in Nov 2003, furtherI think the interest income is considered as capital gain, and the taxable income amount is halfed.

Wrong, interest income is not captital gain. You have no advantage on interest income. For bond, only if you sell bond on the price higher than the price you bought, you realized some captial gain.

if this is the case, you might try PC financialThey offer 2.5% NOW and can be withdrawed in one day(not business day, any day is ok). The rate goes up when prime rate goes up. I have seen a 4.X% when the prime rate was fairly high.
