工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / pc-to phone, need help!!I installed pc-to phone. but my pc is in the local network using route (SMC) to connect to internet cable( Roger ). I know it need one more port for voic. are there anybody did it before. Thanks

More detailsSorry, I should give more details. The modem is between cabled and router as normal setup by Rogers.
I tried something. One is virtual server that redirects everything from the port 9048 in public IP to my PC port 9048. But it didn't work. The port 9048 is for incoming voice according the spec of the PC-Telephone.
Any comments are welcome.

The Route IS SMC 7004VBR.

down a new firmware http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?sec=Products&pg=Product-Details&prod=257&site=c it's support upnp now

It still doesn't work. Following your suggest. I updated the route driver and have more functions now such as UPnP. However, Even it is on, PC-to phone doesn't work. Thanks, you are very good at networking.

firstly we must know which pc-phone software you're trying. there are SIP and H323..... for VOIP. take a look at www.mutualphone.com
