An urgent question: My mum is 88 years old and she is going to have US visa appointment today. However,we received a email from US Embassy last night said "Bring nobody under age 14 or over 80. Their interview is waived". Do you mean that my mum doesn't need to go for the interview? Thanks.

从信上看是这样。但是这里谁也不敢给你打包票，谁也代表不了US Embassy。建议你自己打电话确认，或者干脆跑一趟。。。

不是免签，是免interview。免签和免interview差别大了去了。

Went to US Embassy this morning and confirmed that my mum was not required to appear in the interview. I can represent my mum to get a US visa. Thanks for everyone here.
