I missed that meeting, but I hope I will jion you guys next time.

For this project I have some suggestions:

1 we should choose just one industry, such as retail or high tech, or manufacturing, i suggest we should go to manufacturing industry, because from FI/CO aspect, there are a lot of exciting jobs and concept for that, and can cover all the senarios of other industries

2 we need some members play customer roles, such as managers receiving, billing, General leger accountant, etc,

3 we need think about the company first, AS is , what is our products, what is BOMs, how about the infomation flow, fund flow and material flow, than we can think about the TO BE- the project

4 we also need to have some original (real ) data such as, general accounts, process routines, work centers, and so on

5 we also need to create some challenge to every team

The name of this project: Rolia Hypothetic SAP Development or Rolia Hypothetic SAP Retail Implementation

The name of the customer: Rolia Vertual Entity

The name of the product of this project: Rolia Hypothetic International SAP Product

These are not proper names but we need a start and this is a start. Contribute your brilliant ideas or bricks, we will have fascinating ones.

Names are important to us. We commit our times and efforts, we learn, and then when we reach a satisfactory level, we start finding a new jobs. We need reference! We are good references! But our references can turn to be jokes if we choose funny names and eventually ruin your opportunities.

So, come up some good names, please. We need them now.

如果是项目的名字, 我觉得就照实际的情况说好了. 比如随便搞个Acronym, 假设叫KD, 那么我们的项目是个elevator manufacturer, 那就叫 KD Associates - Elevator Manufacturer. 放在简历上也蛮好看的,省了很多解释. -rolialover(小快); 2009-5-6 {291} (#726@56)
如果要搞得象征性一点, RSAP & Rosia 都是可以的. 举个例子说, MIT 有个Lab叫Life Long Kindergarten, 这个Lab有很多project, 有个project叫Scratch, 就是专门教小孩子学动画编程的, 如果你说Scratch写在简历上也未必有人懂, 也未见得反映什么内容,但一旦做出名了(比如有budget for marketing), 也就人人都知道了.
