最近因为工作上的原因和CSIS的人谈过此申请问题.他们的说法是不对外个人做clearance,必须是加拿大政府某部门提出要求后他们才接收...也就是说如果你所在的公司或代理为加拿大政府某部门工作或有工作关系，然后在该政府部门要求下CSIS可对外个人做clearance

The person apply for Government Screening (Level 1: Confidential; Level 2: Secret; Level 3: Top Secret) will be checked back to 10 years living history. If he/she live in Canada for 10 years, it will take around 3-6 months to complete, and if he/she used live in other counties in the past 10 years, it will take around one year or more to complete.
