工作学习 / 专业技术讨论 / Fedora 不能访问Internet?我的情况是这样的:
1. 原来的系统是Windows Vista Business, AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 dual-core, 安装了Fedora Core 5 for x86_32 后,能访问Internet.

It works on FC x86_32!I reinstalled Fedora Core 5 for x86_32 again, It works again.
I don't know why? It works on Fedora Core 5 for x86_32. Thanks all of you guys.
By the way, who knows about this issue? What's different between x86_64 and x86_32? I feel so strange, my CPU is AMD 64 dual core, the FC x86_32 works on it fine, otherwise the FC x86_64 doesn't work? Any body has any idea? Thanks.

when I tried to install suse64 on AMD 64, it gave notice that it detect 64bit system but the either net card is not 64bit compatible and the NIC may not work. So, I use suse32 version. Did you get the message for Fedora64 at very beginning?

ping localhost(127.0.0.1) and your local statistics address (e.g. 192.168.x.x, which you manully assign to the NIC), response come back from the kernel, doesn't really go to the physical device layer to NIC.
