What do you mean by local bus? voice card and ss7 card both are PCI cards. DACS is digital access cross connect system, but it is a seperated switch, I don't want to add more nodes to the solution. So cann't use that. -redriver(redriver); 2004-10-5 (#1916927@0)

I don't know what DACS is. But I think there should be 2 solutions for you problem.1. If both of your cards have local buses, connect it to a third card which can switch the timeslot for you. Does your existing cards have switch IC chip on it? If so, don't bother to buy the third card.

2. Use a simple T1/E1 switch outside your two cards.

I think you may be able to do that. Just connect the E1/T1 to the SS7 card. Then exchange the timeslot to the H.100. And the voice card can do it work in the H.100. -pleased(please); 2004-10-6 (#1918611@0)

Does this forum really have Telecom expert? It is normally a T1 muplixier/Spitter which handles the aggregation of T1 channels.Any DACS system will do. In hardware level, it makes no difference you are using a outbound SS7 or inbound SS7 channel. You are right, but I want to avoid using DACS since almost all of them are in an external node. For a large network, that's a big node.I like a board to solve it.

If you want to save the programming, place a programmable switch (such as Summa4/VCO) at the front end. Then you what you wnat.Off course $$$$ is needed.

是啊，根据你SS7的口子是T1/E1还是DS0，要相应的接口卡(T1/E1/DS0)，cable连上，然后这个卡的channel DX(digital switing)到voice E1 的TS16。如果只是操作维护级的，只能这样了。如果你可以在主控板嵌入编程，那么从PCI。。。我想你就不会到这里来问了 -remember_me_not(老兄); 2004-10-6 {24} (#1917806@0)
