Control Panel--Reginal&language option---install east asian language,然后在advanced里面选Chinese（PRC），重启后就可以了

depends on your Operation System. If win98, no way exept install Chinese Start, Richwin stuff.

How about win2000? I installed Chinese Language, and selected locale, but still can not show Chinese.

shot answer: no idea. my experience is. After a couple of years you won't need any chinese softwares any more. This doesn't answer you question, I know, but that's what I went through.
