你心里的上好CAVIAR是什么挡次的? 本主席每月给我老爸买的便宜货FRENCH BELUGA 125GRAM的$199在ST LAWRENCE MKT就有,BOSTON来的, 还挺好..不过买CAVIAR要配酒, 这就事多了...

thanks. 去了这个市场,大吃一惊,是像国内那样一档一档的,很多海鲜,有种螃蟹的脚像人的手臂那么长,可惜鱼子酱不好吃,它有点腥不是吗?为什么会是著名美食?还买到鸭肝酱卖的人说鹅在加拿大不准吃,所以没鹅肝酱供应。奇怪,华人店是有烧鹅卖的。

Glad that the trip was worthwhile. I am not an expert on Caviar. Heard of that fresh Russian & Iranian Caviar from the Caspian Sea is the best. Storing and serving is quite an art.It should be placed in the coldest section of your refrigerator, not in the freezer. Un-opened fresh caviar will last 2-3 weeks. Once opened, it should be eaten right away. If left in the tin, caviar surface should be covered with plastic wrap and stored in refrigerator. Caviar should be served with a non-metallic spoon, usually mother of pearl, bone or horn.
To serve caviar, place tin/jar directly on top of crushed ice in a caviar server or crystal

Of course, it's a luxury. I cannot afford Champagne, but normally replace it with an Italian sparkler. I am interested in tasting Moet&Chandon's White Star, though.
