I could not know how this guy is thinking and how many knowledge’s he has got from his fragmented context. A particular stock can have 30% returns for a particular year. If you think 6% is more reasonable instead of 8%, it is quite OK.

How do you know that new century will be different from the last one from the performance of only two-year time (2001 and 2002)? Yes, It will be different definitely like 19’s comparing with 18's. But it will be better or worse or other for 20,s?

I am not the person who likes to take risk. So involving into stock market directly is not for me.

this insurence item is for somebody has some money in hand and don't want to die at the risk of sickness. I don't think he/she hope that pay back

I know what INSURANCE means. I did not take any account of payback(300K). That means I assumed you have no any sick occur and no any claim.

I did set some conditions for my calculation. First one is that you are 30 year old now. You will have 45 years to go before you have your capital gain back (not 30 years). Second is that such calculation is simplied without consideration of income tax. Third is 8% return rate is used. fourth is $933,565 is the value at the time that you are 75 year old (year 2048). That will be equvelent with $29,246 of today' value. The deal is like this. if you agree to pay $29,246 today, They will have that policy valid untill 2048 without your any other payment.

Have you done your own calculation? or you just consider such figure is unlikely only from your feeling. If you like to have the way how I do the calculation. give me a email. I can send a file for you to check.

You are right. There is nobody know what will happen tomorrow. But let me ask you whether sun will come out from the east and set down in the west tomorrow. Tomorrow has not arrived yet. Now do some homework on the difference between FACT and BELIEF.

8% is most likely return rate for LONG time investment (more than 5 years). I have this concept from many talking with financial people. When these people try to sell you their insurance policy (UL or WL), they are advised by their company to use return rate 6% conservatively. Go to get a copy of Mutual Fund Prospectus of nearly any management company or bank. Almost any fund have rate higher than 8% for LONG term period.

You can not simplely go to the bank and ask a 8% interest rate for your money. Canada has much much broader financial market comparing with China where the most common choice is fixed rates. Also there are many other financial institutes in addition to the bank.
