Step by step information to withdraw your CPF from Canada

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛1. Write a letter to Singapore embassy at Vancouver to specify your intention to cancel your PR of Singapore. In this letter, you may want to ask for a CPF withdrawal form as well.

You should also include:

(1) China Passport for them to cancel your multiple entry permit on it;
(2) Original PR document (such as NRIC card, PR passbook, re-entry permit, the green card etc.)
(3) Stamp of $5.46 for them to mail your passbook back

Of course, if you are in Vancouver, it would be perfect if you visit them personally.

2. In two weeks (approximately), you will receive your passport and CPF withdrawal form from Vancouver.

3. In another two weeks(approximately), you will receive a ltter from Singapore Immigration stating your status of non-PR and acknowledgement of receiving your Singapore PR documents.

4. Fill up the CPF withdrawal form (do NOT sign it at your home), and call Singapore Embassy at Toronto for an appoinment. On that date, bring your CPF withdrawal form, the letter from Singapore Immigration and all other documents specified on the CPF withdrawal form, and go ahead.

5. Mail your CPF withdrawal form to Singapore CPF and wait for your money. (The best part :-))

    我的新加坡PR快过期了,估计也不会给我renew我的re-entry permit了.
    如果人不回新加坡,如何将CPF转过来.另外如果不是PR了,那边的股票和POSBANK的账户是否要作处理?

      Don't worry. If you don't need your money urgent, you can leave your CPF in Singapore. If you need the money, just cancel your PR and transfer the money from CPF board to your POSBank account or wire transfer to Canada. Your stock and bank account will not be affected.

        99年时,有一朋友向公积金局申请出美元支票成功.但不知为何,2000年开始新加坡公积金局就不乐意干这事了.另一加拿大朋友在2000年取到CPF的方法是通过在新加坡的朋友帮忙,先把CPF的钱转到新加坡的私人银行户头里,再转来加拿大银行户头.有哪位朋友是直接从CPF转到加拿大的私人银行户头成功的?
