My little window (2)

charades(charades)
"Charades," my friend whispered through the window urgently, "Let's get out of here!" Something in his tone penetrated my head. I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter. An honest face that I was sure he could not have been lying. I opened the window and climbed through it.

"When I was sleeping," he gasped for air as he barely muttered the words, "I felt like someone was watching me. When I turned on the light there was no one...Just got outside and watched. The light was gone and I know there is someone in my room!"

It was so dark and we shivered in the cold as we decided to abandon the house and run away fast. As I turned back my head, I suddenly found my room was completely dark. I kept running away but from the distance I saw a silhouette in my little window.

    本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I had a few drinks tonight. By the time I got home, I had already crashed in my chair looking at my computer screen. I dared not to look outside the window, which was right behind me, because I feared that there would be a face there. I was even terrified to turn around as the curtain was not drawn - there was a whole dark world. Was it just my fantasy? Well, let me tell you now that I had a reason to be scared.

    I got really bored so I made occasional glances at the window. I might want to know what the weather looked like. It was getting late. My friend in the next room had fallen asleep already. I should've gone to bed. Suddenly, I saw a shadow in my peripheral vision and immediately shifted my eyes to the window. Nothing. I was relieved and looked back at my computer screen. Then I heard a knock on the window.

    I shifted my eyes towards the window again and was horrified by the scene. I saw my friend's face outside the window! It was just the moment I realized that he was in his bed and I heard that he was snoring in the next room.更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
