律师列的很详细，房，车，存款，可是现在变化太大，房子换了，车也换了，不知道原来那份还有用没有。如果没用，立它干啥呢？

Normally a lawyer would let you know what would be the general compensation for the executor/guardian. 5% of total assets. They will put it in your will as well.
On the other hand, if you don't appoint an executor/guardian, the government will assign it for you. Of course, they will charge you from your assets to compensate as well. Therefore, the choice is either you choose someone or government chooses someone for you. What would you prefer?

实际上对于我们大多数移民而言，遗产分配倒不是最重要的。最重要的是未成年人子女的监护问题。还有你可能希望子女随着不断成熟再逐步获得遗产，而不是一到１９岁就忽然拿着几十万或更多钱而不知所为。。 -vicky2005(孩子她爹); 2012-6-21 (#7608700@0)
该立，会把这事提到议事日程上来。。。没有了我，孩子无依，老人无靠。。。除了遗嘱，还该买term-life insurance，20万给孩子，够养他到成人，10万给父母，留给他们养老的钱。。。其他人就顾不上了，老公会有别的女人takeover，所以不用管他。 -cute99(behappy); 2012-6-21 (#7608732@0)
