I agree. Personally I would chose Saint Mary's over Dal

since SMU is a much smaller school. You may feel more cozy there. Dal has better reputation over all in Canada though it is not as well-known as 10 years ago. You should be able to get admitted in SMU, probably Dal too.

There is another university you may want to consider, Mount Allison. I don't know if they have good business faculty there. It was ranked as number 1 in undergraduate program for a few years by Maclean. I met a few students from the university. They seem to enjoy theior time there. It's in Sackville, a few hours drive from Halifax.

我现在申请了哈里发斯的Mount Saint Vincent ，准备读商业管理的本科，但由于没有托福550的成绩，现要在该大学指定的语言学校读六个月的语言，直到托福达550。我想请问大家，那个学校口碑是不是好？找寄宿家庭是不是容易？中介让我住学校，但我想住寄宿家庭或许对我的语言有帮助！

In Halifax, Saint Mary's and Dal's business school probably better than Mount Saint Vincent. Mount was a female school before, even now still more female student than male ones.

I would not recommand the school to anyone I know.

比较而言，不是很好。一般中介办的学校，都是相对难度不大，成功率高的学校。不过学语言到也差不多少。你可以在那里先学好英语，考一个好一点的托福，再申请其它学校。要是寄宿，得通过当地的什么机构吧，要不也不安全是吧。 -starinfo(黄水谣); 2002-9-20 (#758722@0)

中介让我住学校的宿舍,我想还是住寄宿家庭好一点,一方面提高自己的语言水平,另一方面还可以了解一些加国的文化什么的,使自己更快适应那里,你说对吗?:)

那是一个非常美丽的学校，坐落在大西洋旁边，由于一度是女校，可能到现在为止女生的比例也在８０％以上，校内美女如云，学生宿舍很漂亮，个人感觉你学语言的话住校可能比住人家家还好点，和同学说话的机会还多点，去吧，你不会后悔的 -fatboy(胖墩儿); 2002-9-20 (#758843@0)

对了,AMY还得向大家说明一下,在高中里AMY的成绩一般般,大约六七十分,大学里就比较糟糕了,目标就是及格.如果留在国内,那么将要上大三了.现在我也不知道MSVC是否适合自己的,因为我对加拿大的教育不是很了解.请问大家是否晓得国内什么水平的可以读DHOUSE和圣玛利那样的学校呢?因为AMY听说在国内成绩一般般和很不好的人去了日本读书,结果成绩总是排在前三名,心里就挺纳闷的.
