It seems to me that there was only one person looking after the handing out of the headmics. It did cause a lot of scares and worries for the actors.
Here is a little suggestion for next time: put three people to be in charge of this territory.
One is in charge of checking out what is next, whether the next performance needs mics or not (he/she has to actually go and ask the performers if they need mics.... because they are so nervous and so confused that they might forget.... it happened to me).
The second makes sure everything is turned on;
the last contacts the sound tech guys to make sure all is good....
Rolia never lacks helpers, so next time be generous with getting more volunteers. Then everyone can put down their hearts (fangxin).
I am sure we are all learning from our mistakes.... and we will be better next time.
