Dear officer,
I am a new immigrant in computer science. I have 7 years of experiences in a US company. Currently it is so difficult to find a job in Canada for the computer engineers.
Recently I read two news from the goverment of Canada. The first one is that the work hours per week was raised to 60 hour from previous 48 hours, although it is volunteer for the employee. The second is that the jobless rate was rised from 7.0% to 7.2%.
The goverment can not control the unemployment rate directly, but they can controll the work hours, according to the idea of most employees(should be) instead of employers. Then why they still increase the working hours? If they increase the work hours to 80 hours per week, then the employers could only keep half of current workers, because one person could be used as two if the previous working hours were 40 hours. I believe change the work hours to 60 hours will worsen the job market, it is easy to understand. If I were a boss, I\
