its possible that you will be rejected due to what you ve done, but honesty is always the best policy, just tell them the truth that you didnt know that as a B1/B2 holder you are ok to get a us DL, and advise your friend to do the same.

The consequece all depend upon the actual person who handled this situation, iam talking about the person (at INS ) who saw the copy of your DL and G2 form, what is G2?? a tax return??
Someone dont care for this kind of case, they will throw it away. If, on the other hand, they think you are trying to get a DL and therefore stay in the US for employment and eventually PR, then they will make a mard and track you down.

So, if that happends, just tell them that you dont know that you cant get a DL, always play dump. :)

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛我和朋友都是加拿大绿卡,中国护照,美国B1/B2五年签证,多次往返.我们一起今年1月1日入境美国,拿到半年有效的I-94卡.B2类别. 我1月17号在阿肯色州一个几万人的城市凭着B2签证和安省G2,申请到一张ARNKANSA 驾驶执照.G2没有被没收. 过几天我陪朋友到一个5000人的小镇,用同样的证件去申请AR驾照,那个办事员却把我朋友的所有证件传真到LITTLE ROCK的移民局,移民局的官员说不允许拿驾照,否则违反移民法,会被驱逐出境...我很傻,却主动招出来在附件30分钟的小镇成功拿到AR驾照..那个办事员,马上要了我的AR驾照,复印一下,然后传真到移民局.把原件还给我. 我们赶紧溜走...吓得要死.
现在的问题是: (1)我朋友的签证护照传真件留在移民局,会不会被记录下来,以后入境时,移民官员会问" You tried to apply for US driver license,now I refuse you to enter US." 甚至5年的B1/B2签证都被CANCLE?

(2)我的AR 驾照传真件留在移民局,他们可以凭着这个驾照,查到我的护照和签证资料吗? 从而在移民局留下不良记录...我的AR驾照被cancle了吗?怎么样可以查到我的AR驾照是否还有效?

(3)如果我和朋友都被移民局留下这个不良的记录..下次入境的时候,,移民局官员会不会不让我入境,然后还把我们的5年B1/B2签证CANCLE.我们该如何反驳,,如何说服官员,,放我们入境..

1. DD, I guess no matter what others say, you alwasys do what you want. not first time you ask.

2. make sure you have document with you every time you go through US custom, paycheck, utility bills, rent contract or morgage, bank statement, everything can prove your residence in Canada.

3. They may not ask you every time, but if they do, and you can't present those documents, I wish you good luck.
