A dynamic company , a leader in the automotive industry is seeking a GENERAL MANAGER to oversee their operations for their plant in Shanghai, China.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure that Business Plan goals and objectives are achieved.
Responsible for the operational and financial growth of the division.
Ensure that Health,Safety and Environmental standards are adhered to, using effective management and constructive correction and reinforcement techniques of health ,safety ,environmental and human resource programs.
Key Requirements :
Minimum of five years manufacturing experience in the automotive industry in mandatory . Familiar with metal fabricating, assembly processes and related tooling.
Written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English are essential prerequisites for this postion.
Mechanical Engineering graduate or Community college graduate or technical diploma in tooland die making or equivalent.
Good understanding of business practices in the automotive industry.
Proven track record of mangement skills and experience.
Demonstrated planning and system implementation ability.
This position could either be a contract or permanent according to prefrence and comes with an attractive compensation package with full benefits paid in Canadian funds.
