Something weird is happening with the birth rates.
We are seeing unprecedented collapses around the world. What is going on?
Here is something that really should be talked about more, but I am struggling to find news outlets that are willing to talk about it. We are talking about the birth rate.
The climate change fanatics often talk about "overpopulation" and that we need to have less children to save the planet, but the fact is that we are facing an under population crisis. Many countries in the West has fertility rate so low that fast forward there will be a population collapse! We need more babies born, not less.
In Sweden the fertility rate has been slowly dropping from 1.91 children per woman in 2012, to 1.67 children per woman in 2021. Keep in mind that the replacement fertility rate is at 2.1. Meaning to just keep the population stable, every woman need to have 2.1 children on average.
But now something weird is happening...
All though we have had low birthrates to begin with, they have been relatively steady. But now that number has collapsed this year and no-one seems to be able to figure out why!
And this is not just happening in one country. We are seeing the same thing happening in many countries all over the world. Really strange!
For example, in the Swedish capitol of Stockholm, there has been a 14% reduction in births the first quarter of 2022 compared with 2021. And it is not only in Stockholm, the fertility has dropped all across Sweden.
"It is a drastic and remarkable reduction beyond the usual. We have never seen anything like this before, that the bottom just falls out in just one quarter" said Gunnar Andersson, professor in demographics at Stockholm University to Dagens Nyheter.
Of course they have all kinds of speculations to what may be the explanation...
Stockholm City speculates that it could be because of the increase in housing prices, worry about the future, or, the financial crisis of 2008! Wait, what? The financial crisis of 2008 is causing the birth rate to suddenly collapse from 2021 to 2022? Wow, that makes total sense...not!
But this is not only happening in Sweden. It is happening in many other countries, including Taiwan which has seen a whopping 27.66% decline in the birthrate for the month of June this year. This is insane.
So what could be causing the birth rate to decline in such a way all over the world at the same time?
Let's do a deep dive into the birth rate statistics to see if we can find out some more information!

So let's start by looking at Sweden in greater detail.
During the first quarter of 2022, only 3 858 children were born in Stockholm, which is a 14% decrease from the year before. Experts are puzzled.
Professor in demographics, Gunnar Andersson, has some thoughts on this development. He thinks it might have something to do with a post-pandemic effect that began around 9 months after the mass vaccination began in Sweden.
"It correlates exactly in time with the mass vaccination program in April, May last year. People understood that the lock downs ended and now we had to go out in the world again. Demographists in other parts of Europe see the same timing" the professor said.
So, it has nothing to do with the vaccines he says! It is rather the contrary, because of the vaccines people were no longer afraid of covid, lock downs ended, people went out in the world again...and had less babies? That seems to be what the professor is implying. And he noticed that the same thing is happening in other parts of Europe too.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Sweden never really had any significant lock downs like many other countries had. So the explanation that it has to do with restrictions being lifted doesn't really explain what has happened in Sweden.
I should know, because I was in Sweden a year ago and everything was open and I didn't see anyone wearing masks.
There is however no real traditional explanations for the drastic decrease in births, like increased unemployment or change in family politics.
During the pandemic there was actually a small increase in births in Stockholm, only to collapse now in 2022.
But no, it has definitely nothing to do with the vaccines, the professor said so! And not only the professor, but the German federal office of statistics says so too!
Statistisches Bundesamt @destatis
See Google translation of their tweet here.
So you see, the decrease in birthrate has to do with parents already having realized their desire to have children.
So what about the German birthrate statistics?
The number of births in the first quarter of the year had actually been increasing the last few years in Germany, reaching 187 543 in 2021. But just like with Stockholm, the numbers collapsed in Germany to 164 614 in 2022.
So that means there has been a 12% reduction of births in Germany this year compared with last year. Interestingly, that figure is very close to the 14% that we saw in Stockholm.
But don't you worry, Germany has already told you that it has to do with people not wanting as many children this year!
What about Switzerland?
Well, again we see a massive drop off in the birthrate in the same time period, see this screenshot from the Swiss Policy Research report.
Let's take a look at the UK.
Here we have some statistics showing the vaccine coverage among women giving birth, but it also gives us the total number of births in the UK, see this screenshot from the UK government website.
So in February 2021 there was 40 093 births in the UK. Fast forward to February 2022 and the number has dropped to 36 394. This is a 9.2% decrease.
What about the Netherlands?
We see a similar story here as well. If we look at the month of April there was 14 472 births in 2021 compared with only 12 832 in 2022. That is an 11.3% decrease.
But this doesn't compare with the extreme birth rate drop that we have seen in Taiwan!
In Taiwan there was a whopping 27.66% decrease in births for the month of June in 2022 compared with the same month in 2021. That is INSANE!
So we can see here that all across the world there has been a massive decrease in the birth rate at the same time. Why is this happening? It had been one thing if it was just happening in one country, but when it is happening all over the world simultaneously, you have to ask what is going on here.
How does this compare with previous years?
It is worth looking at this drop in births compared with previous years. Was there a lot more births than usual during the pandemic only to drop now in 2022? Or was this drop sudden and unexpected?
According to the professor at Stockholm University this drop is unprecedented. In fact, we have to go all the way back to 2005 to see such a low birthrate in Stockholm as there has been in 2022. So let's take a look at some of the statistics here.
Let's take a closer look at Switzerland again, see this chart here showing monthly births.
As you can see, the birthrate has been relatively steady in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 only to suddenly drop in 2022.
We are seeing a similar story in Germany. Germany did have a small increase in births from 184 643 in 2020 to 187 543 in 2021, only to drop off in 2022 to 164 614.
So it is not the case that there was a large increase in births during the pandemic and that we are now seeing a cooling off period so to speak.
As the Swedish professors said, it is unprecedented that the births suddenly just drop off like they have done this year.
Let's take a look at the vaccination rate and birth rate in the UK. How does the fertility rate compare?
The UK is very kind to tell us. Look at this graph.
Here we see the number of births in different age groups in the UK compared with how many of the women were vaccinated.
In the age group 20 to 24, the percentage of vaccinated mothers were 38.9%. That is quite low. How many are vaccinated in the general population in this age range for comparison? In the age group 18-24 (so we are including here some who are two years younger than in the birth age group) 70.7% of them were vaccinated in February 2022 (the birth rate statistics cover December 2021 to February 2022). Now this includes both men and women as I could not find gender statistics on the vaccination rate, but we are assuming here the vaccination rate is pretty similar between men and women.
Also keep in mind that the birth rate statistics is for the whole of the UK, whereas the vaccination statistics is for England only. Scotland actually seems to have a higher vaccination rate than England in these age groups, so these calculations are actually pretty conservative.
This means in the ages 20-24, 38.9% of mothers were vaccinated compared with 70.7% of the general population aged 18-24 were vaccinated. Meaning the unvaccinated had almost 4 times as many births as the vaccinated in this age group.
Let's look at another age group, ages 25-29. Here there were born 28 676 children, with 49.4% of mothers being vaccinated. In the general population ages 25-29 the vaccination rate was 67.2% in February 2022. Meaning that in this age group the unvaccinated had more than double the births of the vaccinated.
Going up in age group 30-34 we find that there is much less of a difference. 64.9% of mothers in this group were vaccinated, compared with 68.9% in the general population. Still more births among the unvaccinated, but not such a big difference.
Age group 35-39 there is not a statistically significant difference, with 71.9% of mothers vaccinated and 72% of the general population vaccinated.
So the conclusion is that among young mothers, the unvaccinated are extremely over represented in the number of births, and if the vaccinated had as many children as the unvaccinated in these age groups, it would more than make up for the 9% decrease in birth rates we have seen in the UK over the last year. But as we go up in age groups, this difference is drastically reduced, having almost as many vaccinated as unvaccinated mothers.
Now, one explanation for this could be that among the young women who tend to be more conservative and thus likely to have more children, generally tend to be more skeptical of the vaccine compared with more left leaning young women who tend to embrace the vaccine, but they also tend to have less children. This could be part of the explanation why young mothers are underrepresented when it comes to being vaccinated.
Again, let me remind you that the German state has informed you that vaccination has nothing to do with the birth rate!
Something weird is happening with the birth rate.
And the mainstream media is not talking about this disaster, because that is what this is, a disaster.
We are facing an under population crisis and now the birthrate has just collapsed? That is not good. We need to find out what is going on here, and that quick.
Already before this collapse in birthrates, we were facing problems with "running out of babies" as the Express wrote in their article. There is a childbirth crisis which mean schools could be facing closures as there won't be enough children in the future.
Here we have a great mystery that the experts seemingly have no answer to. A sudden and shocking decline in birthrates and nobody seems to know why. I will leave it up to you the reader to think of any explanations as to what could be going on here...
We do know that it is not because of the lock downs because Sweden barely locked down and they also saw this massive decrease in the birth rates.
It is not because of the financial situation, because all though we are seeing massive inflation and facing an energy crisis now, we were not facing that 9 months ago when these babies were conceived. In fact, after the covid lock downs the economy was pretty good with low unemployment so that is not the explanation either.
I know, it has to have something to do with climate change! Yes, that's it. I bet that will probably be the official explanation that we will be getting soon.
So what do you think...? Let me know in the comments.

Jul 14, 2022Liked by Peter Imanuelsen How does 2022 compare to the five or ten previous years? Is there any chance that there was a pandemic baby boom in 21 and that this could account for the drop in 22? |
Jul 14, 2022 In the US vaccine adverse events database VAERS, it shows 4,818 miscarriages and more than 40,000 reproductive incidences for women. There's a big peak in 2021 when the vaccines were rolled out. https://openvaers.com/covid-data/reproductive-health I wonder if the covid vaccines contained HCG Antigen. This was found in UN-supplied tetanus vaccines in Africa. https://www.africanglobe.net/africa/sterilization-plot-kenyan-doctors-find-anti-fertility-agent-tetanus-vaccines. They became suspicious after many young people in Africa discovered they couldn't have children. Do you know what the birthrates are for this time range in Africa (which had one of the lowest uptakes in covid vaccines)? Sigh. These are sad times. |
