I download the CVS for NT 2.0.11, installed the server and client. How can I add new user to the CVS server or one repository?
While I use use "cvs passwd -a myname " in command line window, it just refused and says: " unknown command:'passwd' "
While I am running the command line "cvs version", I got message as following:
" Client: Concurrent Versions System <CVS> 1.11.1p1 <Client>
Server: cvs version: failed to open c:\Documents and Settings\James Yu/ .cvspass for reading: No such file or directory
No valid repository roots defined. Aborting."
It seems CVS server cannot access the directory, but I installed it using the same user. And I try to edit one .cvspass file the that directory but I cannot because XP always ask me to "you must type a file name" while I want to save a file as .cvspass.
Any DX had that experience pls help me! Thanks a lot
