        • The guideline applies to most residential rental accommodations covered by the Residential Tenancies Act. It does not apply to rental units in buildings occupied for the first time after November 15, 2018,
          • 谢谢bluesky,就是说一定是新房子,新租客。如果自己先住进去了不久后来在出租了,就不算例外的了
            • 不是,意思是2018年11月15日之后交房入住的房子不受租金管制,跟你自己住过,或者换过几个租客都没关系。

        • Exceptions: New buildings, additions to existing buildings and most new basement apartments that are occupied for the first time for residential purposes after November 15, 2018 are exempt from rent control.
          • 谢谢灌水!就是说新房,必须是第一次入驻进去的房客。比如相识condo,如果是在final close 之前产权还不是owner,而是 builder,出租过,但是在本人成为正式业主之后的第一个租客是不是可以exempt from rent control啊
