Thanks. Following your advice to install from hard drive, now the file transfer starts. However.... problem again. Help please.

Thank you so much for your advice. I thought it was equivalent to extract and copy the files to CD.

Following guestagain's advice, I now run setup from the extracted files on hard drive. It moves one step forward -- file transfer has started. However, I got a bunch of such error messages:

"Erro 1308. Source file not found: C:\MSDN extracted\CD1\Program Files\MSDN\2003APR\1033\xxx.hxs. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."

Aparantly, a bunch of .hxs files were missing from that directory, but their corresponding .hxi files seem to be there. Do you think this problem is related to the way the files are extraced? Or any other clues? Thanks a lot.

Downloaded and extracted using UltraISO; Recorded the content into 3 CDs; run setup; installation started...but then... Prompted "Please insert MSDN CD1 and press OK" -- CD1 is already in! Tried ejecting & inserting again and it still doesn't work:(? Any clue?? Thanks a million!!

why use UltraISO to extract? you should use the iso file as an image file and use the burn image function to make CD. -guestagain(guest again); 2003-9-5 {141} (#1358337@0)
I guess when you burn your cd, you didn't provide correct lables of the CDs. Try copy all the content to hard disk, and install from there.
